Unlike United States Of America , we dont have direct election for most powerful post. We elect party which in turn elects who would become prime minister of India. Since last 15 years , we dont even elected government. We elect parties , who is turn form alliance and then largest party selects who would become prime minister of India and based on allies's confidence , he/she becomes prime minister of India!!!!!!!!!!
