Not even Capt. Devi Sharan (and the crew of IC-817 from the erstwhile Indian Airlines of the Kandahar hijack drama) were given such a warm welcome!

Does really Haneef deserved all this sympathy and apathy despite the fact that India needs so many doctors and he is STILL WILLING TO WORK OUTSIDE INDIA!!

Did his family really suffered something which they MUST NOT HAVE, despite the VERY FACT THAT HIS COUSINES WERE DIRECTLY INVOLVED IN THE FAILED UK BOMBINGS??

Yet the K'taka CM and some other political parties are celeberating victory over this 'home coming of hero'!!!

    is he such a celebrity to get such a welcome? dont think so...maybe he was wrongly implicated..but still..has he won a war or something?

    I think sometimes we as indians tend to give too much credit to NRIs. WE should learn they are people just like us and demand same respect that every indian does...
