hey hey hey.....lets not start pointing at each other now...its just tht students at IIT's n IIM's get the best tht v have in our country n thts y they get international offer's....
These extra ordinary places are made so tht our country i.e. India, can progress. This question is surely for evry1...
im not trying to defend any1 but civil service officers work with in d system...they make an effort to make changes but its surely nt tht easy considering all d other d factors.
And abt doctors...who hv d capability to "save lives" they r doing tht...they surely dont sit in air conditioned cabins all day long n pass orders.
And abt going to rural and remote areas....if ur comparing this with IITian or IIMian...if they care so much for d country y dont they do sumthing for these "rural n remote areas" whn they have power of money or influence or even better tk such a career option which is insync with their conscious.
All of us (evry Indian) has d responsibility of doing in our own way, which "we" feel is right!!
The issue is not committment for the job but for the country.

Hi 'just2impressu',
Why all the time we are pressing too much against the IITians and IIMians?? They are nothing more than an ordinary people having graduated from extra-ordinary grad schools.
On the other hand, every year the hundreds of Civil Service Officers are joining the main-stream of administration, who are not only having extra-ordinary skills but also extra-ordinary powers!! NEvertheless, lets not forget doctors who do graduate out from Medschools every year!!
Why can't be these questions put across them???
How many Civil Service Officers are really committed towards the development of the country? And How many doctors are willing to treat not only the poor and needy but also to the population of india which lives in rural and remote areas???
The Civil Service Officers have enough power to do the things in right way, and doctors have been blessed by the capability to save lives!!!
Now compared to this an IIMian or IITian can work ONLY in labs or companies who in turn can give back and does give back to the Indian society indeed!!
