As the full article highlights later in the end, the very own structural rigidity created in society under the name of caste system and the selfishness due to comfort seeking nature of humans, has been the biggest reason for the downfall of not just science but of all the valuable knowledge our great ancestors earned for us.rnrnI guess, frequent invasions on India by several foreign powers trying to expand their domain led to constant fear and insecurities in society. Which eventually, made us bit selfish or may be overprotective / cautious for survival by holding knowledge. Failure to transition of this precious knowledge to the next generation or ignorance to this knowledge by next generation to seek comfort in being different, could also be the reason for lost knowledge treasures.rnrnReal question is, have we learnt from past mistakes?rnOr are we mentally preparing our next generations for being responsible for the similar downfall?
