Customizing God? Whats that you may ask? Ask any Indian .. he wont tell you as he doesent know of his own sins committed. Let us explore today how we have begun to customize god. God in his ever so pleasant self is a good guy with not so much anger or frustration a peaceful guy and stuff. But today the generation or lets just call them as people have begun to take him for granted I suppose and have started to make God as a person who lives for them and not they live for him. An normal religious indian's life begins with a Bath and then a Puja and then he leaves for work and comes back in the evening. An Extra religious guy may go for a puja in the evening now thats good.Now How he has begun to customize lets explore the untold secrets of a religion. Upwas : An Upwas is a fast or technically a abstance from any physical food insertion into the body volutarily and involuntarily. An upwas was in the past credited to bring a man closer to his maker but today the scene has changed. People eat double the khichadis (Sabudana Khichadis). A large packet of potato chips and huge amounts of fruits in the name of Upwas. The only excuse offered to the god above that " We have jobs so we cannot be up to the benchmark standards on this ok? We will do as we please ". Now God frankly never asked you to keep this so called customizable upwas for the sake of keeping it. The true meaning of upwas is eating nothing just nothing. How about following that eh Upwasis? . A meaning of religion has changed. People have started going nuts on religion dancing and singing with Alchohol in their bodies. Now Where has god asked you to consume substances that will lead you to a mental state away from earth and to a temperory paradise recreated from the wildest imaginations of the sinful mind. eh? Let me elaborate.

Agree with you. Sabudana Khichadis with ghee,nuts etc. How will you feel hungry?
