    I also have read about the Khunte and Ndtv episode. It is truly shameful that Bakra - oops Barka - oops Barkha - who is supposed to be an award winning journalist - is behind curtailing freedom of speech.

    BTW, I "ALSO" love the blur which occurs over 130kmph.. ( nice one)

    Read this today on Ckunte's blog itself..

    This Barkha can be allowed to have an infinite amount of freedom of speech.. what with gheraoing RSS people on her "We the People" program in a 1:3 ratio with p-secs but when a misly blogger like ckunte.. (although his circle of readers would naturally be bigger than mine) even squeaks in protest he gets hammered down.

    In the process of this case, she has popularized an incident which many of us would not have known otherwise.. This is a case of foot in the mouth disease and calls for immediate cure by a leading medical practitioner.

    CKunte, though lost, has won this round. Because in the eyes of common man, his cause is noble. Ignorance would have served Barkha better over here..

    JMTs, IMHOs, etc.. now I've got to duck for cover..

    The big guns won this round but you just can not shut up bloggers like CKunte.There are many many who are unhappy with Barkha's style of journalism and the slant she always gives to news,the habit of cutting off people mid sentence when their opinions don't suit her and the addiction to reducing news and views to catchy sound bites.......the list is endless.Will NDTV try and shut up all who dare to criticise their star.

    hey these big ppl like Barkha just feel that they are right and want to dominate the proceedings..... if she was so democratic then she should have respected the view point of a common blogger but instead she decides to sue him and is backed by the entire NDTV........

    this is the murder of freedom and liberal thinking..... i think all of us should stop listening to her news presentations......

    The guys who shout freedom of speech from tv sets day & night - get upset with a little bit of criticism and other's freedom of speech.

    Why can't barkha digest the fact that she is totally wrong and it goes beyond journalistic ethos & common sense to broadcast what she did during the Mumbai attack's.
