Dear Mr Prime Minister,
I write to you as the term terrorism takes on a whole new meaning for the Indians. In some ways, terrorism has shaped the collective consciousness of us all since as long as we can remember. But in the hurly-burly of India's emergence as a major economic power, the fact that India remains a patently insecure nation somehow got relegated to the background. The middle-classes started believing in their own invincibility as if all they needed was 8 percent rates of economic growth and the future of the country would take care of itself. Even when bombs after bombs were being exploded in city after city, we continued to live in the fantasy-world of our own making, first blaming the outside forces and then training guns at ourselves. It became a Hindu versus Muslim debate: whose terrorists were better, mine or yours?
And today when our soldiers and security personnel had to wage a war in their own homeland, we look askance, unable to comprehend how we could have been so nave, how we could not have realised that when we don't take the fight to the enemies, they bring the fight to us. It was Trotsky who said: "You may not be interested in war but war is interested in you." After all, India has been facing a sustained terror offensive of unprecedented lethality for some time now. And unlike the West that has the luxury of fighting the wars of choice, we are now fighting a war of national survival. And Mr Prime Minister, with due respect, you are to be blamed for this. The buck stops with you, not with your home minister, not with your party leader, but with you.

I think we are living in fools paradise if you expect some thing from this government.
It is the UPA which wanted to weaken the country by Sachar committee. It wanted to extend it to army.
The PM ask us to united and fight terror. How can a common man foght terror. What for such large army, navy and air force are maintained and arms are brought by taking bribes.
The ATS cheif did not knwo how tro aprroach terorists. After all it is a known fact all the top security posts are political and naturally they become ineffecitive.
The Govt is worroed about the fall out of electoral fortunes rather than the deaths of 200 and odd innopcent people.
The will do routine things like checking your bags, air ports ,cars etc for some time.
The police and the security are streched to the maximum.
You dont hang aperson who was convicted for attcking your parliament.
You allow the people responsible for 1993 blasts to get bail after a atada court sentenced them after 15 years of trial.
You said the same thing after 200 people died in the Train blasts in Mumbai.
Your immedaite concern is how to control media damage and you have a highly obliging channels like NDTV,CNN-IBN etc.
You go on agrresive and say the Opposition wants to politicize it. What you expect the opposition to do. It is warning you for the last 4 years that you are soft on Terror. But you behave as if you know the better and ignored its wranings for your vote bank politics.
We know you cant to do any thing.
Mr, Man-mohan.
You are the one, who has been committing extreme blunders, keeping your face Calm and Sad.
History will always blame you and the future will teach you soon.
hey rsk i agree with each and every point that you hgave mentioned here.....
no media has ever covered the news of Afzal Guru or any other terrorist which is captured and is kept in police custody.....
why the hell are we not killing them if they are proved terrorists....
and no media will ever demand the killing of these ppl bcoz they will not go against the interest of the ruling party....
