yes debu... u are right the freedom of press is being curbed now a days and as a result of cheap politics and corporates taking over majority media most of the times the news covered is just to attack the opposition party and hardly consists of facts......

in this era of commercialization i think the best thing would be to have a public fund for a media house which will publish a paper and a channel and will totally be neutral and run on the basis of public money just like the BBC........

that indeed sounds good ... but Indian context is s contradicting ... you can hardly presume anything ... especially with such a contrasting literacy rate amoung the people ... that it becomes difiicult to think of any solution ...but i do apprecite your thought ... and thank u !

yes i know it would be tough here in India as people have a wde array of thinking, but some time will come when everyone will be fed up with the useless existing current media and they will be prepared for such a thing
