The Indian Music Maestro and the "Man of Music" Sri AR Rahman has bagged two Oscar awards in the 81st Acadamy Awards or Oscars, having the record of being the first Indian to bag two Oscars. From his first film “Roja” in the year 1992 a non-stop- ‘Awards rain’ consisting of various Awards from India and many other countries started pouring on AR Rahman's head. Still he is very humble, modest and light headed and he says "All fame and praise to God only". Also he feels awards and honours will not judge correctly the quality of music. Given below is a list of various awards given to AR Rahman from the year 1992 upto 2009 (Oscar Awards) yearwise. Many more awards have been omitted in the list...

    he is the greatest Musician ever born ion India and also one of the bests born in this universe.... no wonder he has got so many awards.... i am sure the writer might have missed a couple of awards.....
