एक तरफ तो जबान महात्मा गांधी और अहिंसा की आरती उतारे और दूसरी तरफ बन्दूकें और तलवारें खुद अपनी जनता के ऊपर चलती रहें. नये हिन्दुस्तान की बुनियाद में निर्बल की नहीं बलवान की अहिंसा की जरूरत की वकालत गांधी ने की.
