Good news for the diabetes phobic! It can be called as a major breakthrough in biomarker research that a simple blood test could predict diabetes 10 years earlier than the diagnosis.

    That is good news, but how is it helpful to potential patients. Will they be somehow able to avoid being diabetic. Or can they be cured of the problem before it precipitates? Or is it just helpful for pharma industries to project growth rates for diabetic medicines.

      wanderer, you got a good point here. i guess predicting diabetics is not enough, because it is an incurable disease, i think research should go into curing it...
