Much before Sourav Ganguly announced his retirement on Tuesday in Bangalore, he had spoken to the powers-that-be in the BCCI. According to TOI's sources, Sourav informed the BCCI of his desire to sign off his international career after the two-Test series against the Englishmen, against whom he had made a memorable debut way back in 1996.
