First of all, Kumar Sangakkara must be lauded for the kind of guts that he showed in the MCC’s Spirit of Lecture by taking on the Sri Lankan board and the overall administration for the sport in the country. There was no doubt that things weren’t going right in cricket in Sri Lanka and while it wasn’t as bad as the Pakistan Cricket Board, one could be certain that they weren’t far too behind.
