New Zealand and the West Indies will be fighting for supremacy on the lower rungs of Test cricket world rankings in a two-match series starting on Thursday.Both sides are licking their wounds after defeats to Australia, although the seventh-ranked West Indies have not played another Test since going down 2-0 in a three-match series at home which ended in June.
