Former England captain Kevin Pietersen could emerge as Indian Premier League’s (IPL) highest-paid player when he goes on sale at the auction on February 6 with a whopping base price of 1.3 million dollars, according to a report on the Times of India . India and Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is currently the lucrative league's most expensive player. He was bought for 1.5 million dollars after having a base price of $400,000.
