Cricket: ICC hints at four-day Test | Cricket Bytes

Test cricket may attract more spectators now, as the longest format of the game may be reduced to four days, hinted the International Cricket Council (ICC) president David Morgan. This attempt is a resulted of an attempt to make the Test cricket more result oriented and lucrative.

    four days???????...can work in australia but not in subcontinent..batting friendly pitches need wear and tear to bring results in subcontinent.

    nice innovative thinking, but I guess it won't really work here in India, where most results are produced on the 5th day itself... or maybe we'll have to produce worse dustbowls then we do now :P
