BRIDGETOWN (Barbados): Opening batsmen Chris Gayle and Sewnarine Chattergoon return to the West Indies squad for the third and final Test against Australia at the Kensington Oval next week.
Australia lead 1-0 after the drawn second Test in Antigua.
Gayle, who has missed nearly two months action because of a groin strain, has been named as captain but will have his fitness checked throughout the preparation ahead of Thursday's first day.
Left-handed Guyanese Chattergoon has also missed both the Tests, with a shoulder injury, after making an impressive introduction to the team during the previous series against Srilanka
Chattergoon replaces Devon Smith whose disappointing performances in Antigua cost him his place but Jamaican batsman Xavier Marshall, who scored a half century at North Sound, keeps his place.
