The Sri Lankan Premier League has bitten the dust. The first edition has, in any case. The Sri Lankan board officials, consisting of the newly formed committee have decided, in conjunction with their marketing/administrative arm, the Somerset Entertainment Ventures, have announced that the SLPL will now be held in August 2012. Earlier, the plan was to have the tournament in July 2011.
