Business: Yamaha bikes: sales boost in June

Gearing up for the road ahead with its exciting product line-up and innovative marketing initiatives, India Yamaha Motor has registered 32 percent growth in sales during June 2010 as compared to the corresponding period last year. It sold 28,155 units in June 2010 as against 21,278 units sold in June 2009. In domestic markets, the company sold 21,157 units in June 2010 as compared to 17,878 units in the same month last year. The export figures stood at 6,998 units in June 2010 while 3,400 units were exported in June 2009. Yamaha bikes launches new bikes in this fiscal years.
