Business: Sensex ended with negative note

The Sensex ended with a negative note on Wednesday. Earlier, the Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Senesx opened with positive note at 19 points at 16,905. Thereafter, it plunged in negative terrain and finally ended in red. It closed down 170 points at 16,717. On the other hand, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty ended below 5000 mark.
