Honda City has reclaimed its leadership position in the mid-size car segment for the month of June 2007 after being over taken by Maruti SX4 in May. The SX4 had debuted in May, 2007 and had climbed to number one position in the first month.
Honda City made its come back by selling 2,656 units in June as against 1,975 units by Maruti SX4. In May the Maruti SX4 sales stood at 3,000 units as against Honda City

I have been drivings Honda Civic-s (marketed as 'City' in India) since 91. Amazingly reliable, and brilliant engines. It is not surprising that they are becoming popular with Indian car owners.
