Many internet gurus are working on the concept of monetizing the social networking sites the most efficient way but no one has come up with any thing extra ordinary or revolutionary. So sticking to CPC (cost per click) ads only, google has very unexpectedly placed the ADVERTISEMENT Block above the friends block in USER’s profile.

    google and orkut have a vary cool concept of homepage theme.. why not get cool themes from advertisers which promote their brand and sell them!!

      Google's motto is dont be evil, and they have never been indulged in such selling and buying business..their main business model/revenue model basically is Adsales only.
