Business: Essar scraps Jamnagar SEZ plan

Essar Group has decided to shelve the idea of developing a 1,125 ha SEZ in Jamnagar, Gujarat in the wake of global economic slowdown. The company was planning to set up a 16-20 million tpa petrochemical refinery at an investment of Rs.15,000 crore.
