Bajaj Auto has taken up the challenge of making India's cheapest car. Now, its not just the Tata Group to build Rs 1 lakh car in India. Bajaj Auto Ltd and Renault-Nissan, the world's fourth largest car maker, will build a $2,500 (Rs 1 lakh) car in India, which will challenge Tata Motor's Nano as the country's cheapest car.
